POSITION OVERVIEW
Conducts MRI scans at a proficient level, requiring minimal oversight on technical aspects.

The execution of these responsibilities necessitates independent decision-making, creativity, and the application of imaging principles and methodologies for radiological assessment.

Must be equipped with the essential skills to perform procedures for patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, and seniors.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
Successful completion of accredited Radiologic training. Certification in MRI by ARRT or eligibility for certification is required. Must fulfill the criteria for registry by ARRT. Knowledge of MRI principles and techniques must be acquired through formal education, workshops, or hands-on clinical practice. A minimum of three months of additional experience in MRI imaging techniques is required, with eligibility to pursue ARRT Certification in MRI. Extensive experience in MRI is preferred. CPR certification is mandatory.

Skills and Knowledge:
Must be proficient in safety screening protocols for MRI. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Demonstrates initiative in enhancing and acquiring the necessary skills to improve job performance.

Competencies:
Must utilize RIS/PACS for image archiving. Capable of initiating IVs for contrast-enhanced examinations. Expected to work autonomously in accordance with physician directives.

Must exhibit exemplary interpersonal skills, ensuring that patients feel valued and are likely to return for future services.

Expected to maintain professional telephone etiquette and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. Comfortable with learning and adapting to new technological systems. Must consistently meet or exceed patient satisfaction standards. Ability to work independently and interact with patients and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner.
