Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Respond promptly to guest repair requests, communicate effectively with guests to resolve maintenance issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on hotel equipment, tools, and facilities, including cleaning, lubrication, and repair of mechanical systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, requisition parts and supplies as needed, and ensure that all maintenance equipment is in good working order.
- Communication: Communicate daily activities and any issues that arise to other shifts using approved communication protocols.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and repair equipment, plumbing, and electrical issues, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment.
- Housekeeping and Engineering: Perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties, including programming TVs and making temperature changes.
- Safety and Security: Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work, and follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals, and provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues.
