Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnostic Services: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify respiratory care needs, and develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Services: Provide a range of respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy, to patients with respiratory conditions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques, disease management, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other respiratory therapists, to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Education and Certification: Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) and a current state of Oregon Respiratory Care License are required.
- Experience: Two years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
