As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. Your responsibilities will include performing basic patient care skills, following infection control practices, and assisting with patient transfers and transports. You will also be responsible for taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and accurately observing, reporting, and documenting patient information. In addition, you will assist with feedings, self-care activities, and elimination needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience as an Emergency Trauma Technician and have demonstrated progressive competency and learning in the role. The Senior Emergency Trauma Technician will have at least 1 year of experience and will have demonstrated engagement in department advancement and leadership aptitude. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have the ability to prioritize tasks, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, and perform efficiently in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have current BLS certification and completion of initial decontamination training.
