Job Summary

Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide technical clinical expertise and support to colleagues, current customers, and potential customers in the Chronic Pain Therapies space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical, clinical, and programming assistance to Territory Managers and customers.
  • Assist in after-hours call support and activities.
  • Integrate into all accounts, build trust, and establish strong relationships with customers.
  • Work seamlessly with Territory Managers to increase selling time.
  • Foster high-trust relationships with customers, including regional team members.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or technical certification; preferred Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 years' work experience, strong preference collaborating with patients in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to communicate, understand, and educate clinical data in the Chronic Pain Therapies space.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Patient interaction experience within a healthcare-related environment.
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.
  • 1-3 years' experience with Abbott or in a similar spinal cord stimulation (SCS) setting or with another implantable medical device company.
