Position Overview:

This is a part-time role focused on supporting the housekeeping team with essential heavy-duty tasks as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive work environment by interacting and communicating effectively with guests, vendors, colleagues, and management.
  • Transport soiled linens from designated areas to the laundry as instructed.
  • Thoroughly clean guest corridors, floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators, landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise rooms, employee lounges, and other public spaces as assigned.
  • Dispose of waste from cleaning carts into appropriate dumpsters.
  • Identify and report maintenance needs in public areas or guest accommodations.
  • Maintain, clean, and properly store cleaning equipment.
  • Dust and polish metal fixtures.
  • Assist room attendants with heavy lifting as required.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Availability during weekends and holidays is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and respond to inquiries from managers, coworkers, vendors, and customers.
  • Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place heavy items.
