Job Title: Sterile Processing Manager

UW Health is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Sterile Processing operations at University Hospital, including expanding the department and hospital, human resources operations, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Sterile Processing staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with Surgical Services, Infection Control, Risk Management, and Safety departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure optimal use of equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible lead work, supervisory, or management experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Services required.
  • 7 years of experience managing a Sterile Processing department and/or materials/inventory management department preferred.
  • EPIC/Healthlink experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Professional Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST or CSPDT) upon hire required.
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) certification preferred.
