Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Align ENT & Allergy. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and support.

In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, assisting with patient scheduling, and handling administrative tasks efficiently.

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate patient information is recorded.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinating with providers to optimize patient flow.
  • Handle phone inquiries professionally, addressing patient questions and directing calls as necessary.
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with prior authorizations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Prepare waiting areas and reception desks, keeping them organized and presentable.
  • Support the medical team by coordinating patient care and communication.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required, such as data entry and filing paperwork.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting, preferably.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Empathy and professionalism in patient interactions.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including:
