Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension Medical Group in Evansville, IN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).
- Perform select clinical duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patient charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Perform basic clerical duties, including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
- Assist with ordering and stocking of supplies and may document the provider's encounter with patients.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: Medical Assistant specializing in Registered obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date, Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
