Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

About the Role:

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will work with patients to help them overcome addiction and achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. counseling, psychology, social work)
  • Valid licensure or certification in a relevant field (e.g. LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
  • Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse counseling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
