For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers has been a trusted national healthcare service provider of outpatient treatment centers specializing in providing safe, quality, and best-in-class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner at New Season Treatment Centers, you will play a vital role in the provision of patient care, including patient evaluations, health screenings, and medication-assisted treatment. You will support the Medical Director by performing intake, discharge, and administrative procedures while communicating effectively with the nursing staff, counselors, and Program Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical examinations of patients upon admission, including annual physical examinations and health screenings.
  • Review patient laboratory results and communicate with patients accordingly.
  • Issue patient medication changed orders and verbal orders as applicable to state rules and regulations.
  • Complete readmit physical examinations and annual physical examinations of all patients.
  • Be available to staff for emergency management of patient care.
  • Refer patients to primary care providers for medical conditions other than narcotic addiction.
  • Assist with training of nursing staff.
  • Ensure the nursing staff properly corrects changes in medication dosage via verbal or written orders.
  • Provide reports as requested.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings with counselors or document alternative arrangements.
Requirements:
  • Current and active state license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state where the clinic is located.
  • Current and active DEA license schedule II, III C with the ability to prescribe buprenorphine.
  • Active Medicaid and Medicare credential.
  • Two years of experience in the field of Substance Abuse.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of EMR experience.
