Key Responsibilities- Observe tutoring sessions to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for both tutors and students.
- Provide guidance and support to students in a variety of subjects, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
- Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and achieve departmental goals.
- Participate in recruitment and articulation activities to promote the college's mission and programs.
- Masters in Education or Master's in English, or equivalent qualifications.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and students in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment techniques.
- Experience working in a community college setting or similar educational environment.
- Knowledge of technology integration and online learning platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A competitive hourly rate, ranging from $32.50 to $65.00.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
