Heavy Equipment Sales and Market Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Sales and Market Development Specialist to join our team at Equipment Depot. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
About the RoleThis position is responsible for developing and executing sales, service, rental, parts, and OEM market strategies to achieve and maintain a desired market position within the Heavy Truck Segment. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of proven sales experience in heavy truck or port machinery segments.
The successful candidate will work closely with company leadership, parts and service, and Equipment Depot's Director of Heavy Truck's and Port Equipment to ensure market position. They will manage the development and activity of the Heavy Truck Segment, including commercial proposals, lease agreements, service contracts, and all customer-facing sales support.
The Heavy Equipment Sales and Market Development Specialist will be responsible for effective communications with the retail network as well as all sales support functions. They will collaborate with branch management and internal departments regarding pipeline management, receivables, and allied equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategic sales plans and work with company leadership to ensure market position
- Manage the development and activity of the Heavy Truck Segment
- Calls on accounts, develops and makes sales presentations, and ensures adequate aftermarket support
- Responsible for effective communications with the retail network and all sales support functions
- Collaborates with branch management and internal departments regarding pipeline management, receivables, and allied equipment

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 8-10 years of proven sales experience in heavy truck or port machinery segments, and basic knowledge of computer skills.
They will also have above-average travel requirements and work in a fast-paced environment that varies from office to job site to industrial locations.
