Job Summary

Hood Packaging Corporation is a leading manufacturer of packaging materials, committed to providing high-quality products in a safe and efficient environment. We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team in Wilmington, OH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct material testing and process inspections to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Obtain and maintain sample retains, and perform quality checks utilizing customer order specifications.
  • Accurately document quality test results and perform COA/COC testing for requiring customers.
  • Inspect returned goods and report findings, and complete QC testing of trial orders.
  • Maintain gage calibrations, receipt, and issue new gages.
  • Communicate quality-related information both internally and externally.
Requirements
  • Regular use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree and one to three years' experience in the multi-wall bag industry, or
  • High School Diploma or GED and three to five years' experience in the multi-wall bag industry.
Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, manage time, work independently, problem-solve, multi-task under pressure, and be organized.
