Highly Skilled Principal Engineer for Nuclear Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team at Volt Workforce Solution in Richland, WA. This is a full-time contract position that requires advanced engineering skills and experience.
About the JobThis role involves performing complex engineering analyses and designs to support operations, systems, programs, audit inspections, and assessments. You will serve as an advisor providing advice and counsel on specialized or unique engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform highly complex engineering tasks, including analysis, design, and problem-solving.
- Provide technical leadership and training on complex projects.
- Serve as an advisor on assignments requiring specialized engineering expertise.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Lead small groups to resolve complex issues.
- Nuclear Design Change Process.
- 50.59 Licensing Process.
- Nuclear Digital Design Process.
- Experience with SEL relay selection, design, programming, and testing.
- Experience with medium 4kV switchgear replacement.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership.
- Ability to work independently and represent the Engineering department in industry working groups.
- Act as Responsible Engineer over engineering changes prepared by self and others.
The estimated salary range for this position is $75.00 to $85.00 per hour, based on factors such as education, work experience, and location. Volt offers benefits, including health, dental, vision, term life, short-term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law).
