We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Electrical Planner to join our team at Allied Staff Augmentation Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in planning and preparing electrical work packages for nuclear projects.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing electrical work packages for large- and small-scale projects to be performed by electrical and contract maintenance organizations. This includes ensuring that plant projects are performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
You will also be responsible for selecting and approving purchase or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution. Additionally, you will conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and provide input for refining and improving work package quality.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare electrical work packages: Develop detailed elements of overall package preparation, including procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages.
- Select and approve materials: Select and approve purchase or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution.
- Conduct field walkdowns: Identify and analyze maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and provide input for refining and improving work package quality.
- Interface with stakeholders: Collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in a technical area (i.e., maintenance, engineering, operations, Maintenance Planning). OR
- An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in a technical area (i.e., maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning). OR
- A high school diploma or GED and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program for maintenance-related work and six years of experience in a technical area (i.e., maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning). OR
- A high school diploma or GED and ten years of experience in a technical area (i.e., maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).
- Educational experience from an accredited college or university will be considered year for year in exchange for work experience in a technical area.
Desired Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a nuclear environment is highly desired but not required.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), short-term disability/LTD, and other perks.
