The Executive Director of School and College Partnerships (EDSCP) is a key leadership position at Lee College, responsible for driving the development and implementation of dual credit programs and partnerships with local school districts. This role requires a strong understanding of higher education and K-12 partnerships, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Dual Credit Program Development: Establish key performance indicators, measure program effectiveness, and implement program improvement initiatives to drive measurable progress toward the ideal student experience.
- Dual Credit Operations: Provide leadership and supervision of all dual credit operations, including recruitment, retention, and completion efforts for dual credit programming.
- Dual Credit Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and agreements for dual credit programs, ensuring compliance with state requirements.
- Dual Credit CEO Network: Serve as the liaison to ISD superintendents, establishing regular communication and promoting a uniform approach to dual credit.
- Dual Credit Academic Quality: Collaborate with academic divisions to ensure the academic quality of dual credit courses taught at remote locations, providing training to full-time college faculty as needed.
- Dual Credit Degree Plans: Ensure compliance with Senate Bill 25 from the 86th Texas Legislature, requiring dual credit students to file a degree plan with the College and consult with an academic advisor.
- Recruiting: Develop recruiting targets, including for dual credit, and provide leadership and supervision to meet established targets.
- Education: Master's (or higher) degree in a related field.
- Experience: Five (5) years of related work experience in higher education, including work with partnering ISDs.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
