Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage with clients in a warm and welcoming manner, using their name and thanking them for their business.
  • Financial Transactions: Process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Relationship Building: Help build relationships with clients by connecting them with other team members who can assist with their financial needs.
  • Cash Handling: Perform a variety of duties quickly and accurately to support the paying and receiving function of the branch, including accepting and processing deposit transactions, cashing checks, and selling cashier's checks.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and review reports relating to the function, such as Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Bank Secrecy Reports.
  • Additional Duties: Maintain an awareness of new business opportunities with customers, actively refer customers to appropriate customer service personnel, and respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Six months to one year of experience in cash handling, preferably in a banking or retail setting.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, ability to follow precise directions, and proficiency in PC skills.
