Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and diagnostic repairs
  • Repair and replace diesel engine components, including fuel systems, cooling systems, and electrical systems
  • Conduct safety inspections and perform repairs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and repair complex issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs and deadlines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Valid CDL Class A license required; non-commercial driver's license preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
