We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Unity Resale Shoppe. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and guiding the business operations of the shoppe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Operations Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the shoppe, including managing a volunteer-based staff, marketing to shoppers and donors, meeting financial goals, and ensuring an inviting environment for everyone involved.
- Inventory and Merchandising Management: Supervise the inventory and merchandising process, ensuring that the shoppe is stocked with appealing items and creating an inviting shopping experience.
- Online Sales Management: Handle online inventory and sales channels, generating significant revenue for the shoppe.
- Community Relations: Represent Unity Resale Shoppe at community events and functions, promoting the shoppe's mission and values.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience in retail management is preferred, with a willingness to train.
- At least two years of retail experience and leading people.
- At least one year of retail staging or merchandising experience preferred.
- Experience working with and/or supervising volunteers preferred.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance coverage.
- Associate of Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
