We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Med Surg - PCU Float Pool Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Med Surg - PCU Float Pool Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's condition
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served
- Promote hospital customer service initiatives
- Utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients
- Demonstrate the ability to perform technical skills and procedures
- Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
- 2 years recent ED experience
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association
- ICU, PCU, ENDO, PACU, SDS, PAT, Cath Lab, ED: ACLS
- PACU & ED: PALS required within 6 months
- ICU & ED Nurses: CPI certification training required within 6 months
