Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler - Medical Components Specialist to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting medical device components with high precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Terminating, cleaving, and polishing assemblies with precision and accuracy.
  • Using technical skills with tapers, requiring attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Terminating fibers in connectors and inspecting under a microscope.
  • Polishing connectors and inspecting under a microscope, standing and inspecting with precision.
  • Following established procedures and protocols to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Operating the component cleaver and inspection equipment under a microscope.
  • Working in a cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to strict protocols and dress code.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent with at least 2 years of consistent work experience.
  • Previous work in a closely regulated, manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Medical device experience is highly valued, but not required.
  • High maturity and integrity level, with good communication skills and the ability to speak up if products are out of specification.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work some overtime may be required.
