Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team at Apex Systems. As a Medical Component Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting medical device components with high precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Terminating, cleaving, and polishing assemblies with attention to detail
  • Using technical skills with tapers and microscopes to inspect and assemble components
  • Terminating fibers in connectors and inspecting under a microscope
  • Polishing connectors and inspecting under a microscope
  • Following procedures and protocols to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Operating equipment such as component cleavers and microscopes
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent with at least 2 years of consistent work experience
  • Previous work in a closely regulated, manufacturing environment preferred
  • Medical device experience highly valued but not required
  • High maturity and integrity level
  • Good communication skills and ability to speak up if products are out of specification
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work some overtime
