Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Enhancement Specialist to join our team at Monarch Landscape Companies. As a key member of our enhancement crew, you will be responsible for installing enhancement projects, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform landscape enhancement tasks, including sod, plant, boulder, stump, soil, and bark installation, replacement, and/or removal, as well as debris removal and drainage installation.
  • Operate a variety of landscape equipment, including ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chipper, stump grinder, riding lawn mower, bobcats, tractors, and bull dozers, safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with initial and ongoing training of crews to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with managers and team members, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure safe working conditions by identifying and mitigating potential hazards, and adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Meet attendance and productivity expectations, adhering to company policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • Commercial landscape construction experience is preferred but not required.
  • A driver's license is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • A strong commitment to high-quality work and customer service is essential.
  • The ability to operate commercial landscape equipment and tools is necessary.
  • The ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner is crucial.
  • Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk.
  • Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception, and adjust focus.
  • Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb, and balance on surfaces that may be narrow and/or slippery.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Frequently exposed to loud noise levels.

Please note that the salary information shown below is provided in compliance with state-specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.

Pay range: $17.00 - $22.00
