Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Breakthru Beverage Group. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and office space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors, empty trash and garbage containers, and sanitize and disinfect surfaces.
  • Facilities Management: Notify management of the need for major repairs or additions to plumbing, lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Recycling and Waste Management: Collect excess cardboard and use a bailer to bundle and prepare for recycling.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist in moving furniture, file cabinets, and other equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate with others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience maintaining cleanliness and order for a large business.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of chemicals and supplies, ability to handle heavy equipment.
Competencies
  • Accountability: Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically.
  • Problem-Solving: Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
