Nesco Resource is currently seeking a Building Systems Maintenance Specialist to support a prominent client in the Pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the mechanical and electrical upkeep, repairs, and servicing of a pharmaceutical production facility.
- Conduct routine maintenance and monitoring of equipment to ensure operational reliability.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Assess and repair various types of machinery and equipment utilizing acquired expertise.
- Adhere to cGMP standards for all procedures and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the facility and its equipment.
- Engage in carpentry tasks, including the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures.
- Manage the maintenance of facility electrical systems.
- Collaborate with central utilities to optimize plant operations.
- Execute preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Participate in qualification and validation processes.
- Delegate tasks to contractors and complete necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Familiarity with plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and janitorial services.
- Strong understanding and application of GMP standards.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery.
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Competence in repairs that may involve welding.
- Physically capable of performing various tasks, including climbing and working at heights.
