Position Overview
The Project Construction Manager operates under the guidance of the general superintendent or project manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee, manage, and coordinate all activities on the project site, ensuring collaboration among all trades, subcontractors, and company personnel to fulfill project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure project timelines are adhered to, with timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules to prevent interference among various trades.
- Supervise all construction processes to guarantee project completion within budget and on schedule.
- Maintain open communication with owners, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders involved in the construction process.
- Develop and implement detailed work plans for upcoming tasks.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Essential Duties:
- Plan and coordinate a variety of construction projects, ensuring all processes are efficiently managed.
- Monitor the performance of all trade contractors, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Prepare daily progress reports and organize weekly meetings with staff and stakeholders.
- Assist in project estimates, bid packages, and budget preparations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of construction experience as a Project Superintendent or Foreman on industrial projects.
- Familiarity with OSHA construction standards and safety practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate project requirements with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized construction software.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a background check and be eligible for access to government military bases.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours as needed.
