Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Quail Park. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our seniors by providing personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and ambulation.
  • Personalized Support: Engage residents in meaningful conversation and socialization while providing personal care assistance.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, and social condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse and/or supervisor.
  • Documentation: Complete all forms to include but not limited to incident reports, and written and computerized documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Housekeeping: Make resident beds, empty apartment trash, and tidy as needed.
  • Laundry and Linens: Change linens and towels according to community laundry schedule or as needed.
  • Clothing and Closet Maintenance: Maintain resident clothing and closet in neat and orderly manner.
  • Assistive Devices: Assist in cleaning walkers, wheelchairs, etc.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working in the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Clinical Skills: Ability to or learn to take blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and O2 stats.
  • Communication: Must enjoy interacting with seniors and establish effective relationships with residents, their families, and team members.
  • Language: Must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English.
  • Health Requirements: Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure.
  • Certifications: Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers credentials.
