Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Stonebridge Companies. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Compute, classify, and record numerical data to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data.
  • Transaction Verification: Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Run reports as required for Food and Beverage audit and complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
  • Cash Handling and Management: Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures and balance the day's work.
  • Customer Service: Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner and handle and follow through on all guest requests.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain radio contact with other employees during entire shift and ensure employees are at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to interpret and perform basic math functions; and ability to interpret and perform basic computer and POS system functions.
Work Environment

The work environment normally entails an indoor setting with minimal to moderate noise levels consistent with a hotel environment.

Physical Demands

The physical activity normally entails standing less than 2/3 of the time, walking less than 2/3 of the time, and sitting more than 1/3 of the time.
