Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual to tackle design and construction challenges, delivering effective engineering solutions for structural and instrumentation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve design and construction challenges while developing engineering solutions for structural and instrumentation installations.
  • Formulate temporary engineering solutions to promptly address construction issues.
  • Manage aircraft non-conformities, including the provision of rework instructions.
  • Examine aircraft and engineering schematics, collaborating with various disciplines to ensure quality and operational excellence.
  • Design engineering modifications for Flight Test and engage with relevant stakeholders.
  • Devise engineering solutions for structural special instructions or limitations.
  • Design and release installations for Special Missions Engineering projects.
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry.
  • Familiarity with ITAR regulations is essential.
  • At least 10,000 hours of experience using CATIA V5.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5 Workbenches, including Assembly Design and Part Design.
  • Experience with ENOVIA LCA and Teamcenter PLM is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience in aircraft or manufacturing settings is preferred.
  • Experience in Special Missions or aftermarket modifications is a plus.
