Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test and Assembly Technician to join our Manufacturing team at Baker Hughes Holdings LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the disassembly, reassembly, and pressure testing of recertified and new pressure control products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly and testing of valves and other pressure-containing oil and gas-related components according to relevant working instructions.
  • Interpret and understand ISO engineering drawings and provide accurate assembly and test reports.
  • Train new employees to operating level and in the company's HSE protocols.
  • Meet delivery schedules and quality of product standards.
  • Oversee material movements and machine loading within the operating area, including overhead crane operation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 2 years of experience working on surface wellhead products, specifically in assembly, pressure testing, or similar industries.
  • Well-versed with API 6A standard and able to interpret and understand engineering drawings and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
