Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing camera module structures and packaging using CAD software
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware
  • Working with component part and camera manufacturing partners to ensure design manufacturability and resolution of mechanical issues
  • Authoring detailed documentation on mechanical inspection and test requirements

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing miniature components or opto-mechanical modules for high-volume products
  • Strong understanding of CAD software, 3D molding, and drafting packages
  • Basic knowledge of structural and thermal Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and tolerance analysis
