We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pet Care Representative to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Confirming Appointments: Coordinate with clients to schedule appointments and confirm details.
- Customer Service Functions: Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Product and Service Recommendations: Present and explain fees, process payments, and recommend products and services to clients.
- Medical Record Management: Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
- Client Education: Educate clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
- Experience: At least one year of proven experience helping customers.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills, compassion for pets and people, and awareness of others' reactions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
