Job Summary

Sanmina is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. The successful candidate will determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic and/or electro-mechanical circuit boards per specifications and ensure quality is a priority.
  • Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions.
  • Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Perform mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools.
  • Work with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts.
  • Identify product defects and report to appropriate personnel.
  • Keep accurate records/logs, etc.
  • Handle ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery, and pneumatic operated tools.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, safely lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis, and safely lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance if required).
  • Basic computer skills - email, work instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
