Job Description

At Michael Page, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the development of innovative thermoformed products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and refine thermoformed products using advanced materials and manufacturing techniques.
  • Conduct engineering analysis, prototyping, and qualification testing to ensure product performance, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Evaluate and implement changes to improve product performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and verify tools, gauges, and equipment for new or customer-specific programs.
  • Support qualification processes and lead to successful manufacturing release.
  • Design and conduct experiments to resolve design questions and assemble, test, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Create manufacturing documentation for new products and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with plastic part fabrication techniques, including common forming and sealing methods.
  • Understanding of machine design, basic electrical design, and standard manufacturing practices.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is preferred.
