Position Overview:
As the Events and Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the General Manager with the overall management of the venue, ensuring that the Lexington Sporting Club is a premier destination. Your primary focus will be on maintaining world-class operations while training the venue staff to deliver exceptional customer service to all visitors.
Compensation:
This role offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000.

About the Venue:
Established in 2021, the Lexington Sporting Club is a professional soccer team located in Lexington, KY. The new soccer complex is set to open in time for the inaugural USL Super League season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in all facets of venue management.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the venue's physical structure.
- Recruit, train, and supervise all event-related personnel, including security, guest services, and maintenance staff as per the management agreement.
- Collaborate with Lexington Sporting Club staff to ensure seamless execution of events and programs.
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings to foster effective communication.
- Assume the role of Manager on Duty as required.
- Perform additional duties as necessary, in line with the position's nature.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in sports.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about soccer and venue management.
- Assertive, enthusiastic, and punctual with strong relationship management skills.
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service and effectively organize tasks for successful facility operations.
- A college degree is strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends as required by event schedules.
