About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Director to lead our EcoVillage program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, education, and community development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that promote sustainability and environmental awareness among students.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to create experiential learning opportunities that align with the EcoVillage mission.
  • Supervise and train village mentors and graduate assistants to ensure the success of the program.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners to support student learning outcomes and the village mission.
  • Teach linked village academic courses and develop professional development plans for staff.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of post-master's work experience in a relevant field, including experience working with college students in an educational setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong commitment to student growth and development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and successfully across cultures and styles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a field related to sustainability and community development.
  • 1-2 years of experience with living and learning communities and/or village content area.
