Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students in various educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Create personalized treatment plans to address each student's specific communication needs.
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, utilizing evidence-based methods.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' academic and social growth.
- Track students' progress and adapt intervention strategies when needed for positive results.
- Maintain precise documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in alignment with state regulations and school district guidelines.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging trends in the speech-language pathology field.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
- Certification from the state's Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board, or eligibility for certification.
- State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools, or eligibility.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility.
- Thorough knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and regulations related to special education services.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience working with students in educational environments is a plus.
