Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students in various educational settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Create personalized treatment plans to address each student's specific communication needs.
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, utilizing evidence-based methods.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' academic and social growth.
  • Track students' progress and adapt intervention strategies when needed for positive results.
  • Maintain precise documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in alignment with state regulations and school district guidelines.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging trends in the speech-language pathology field.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
  • Certification from the state's Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board, or eligibility for certification.
  • State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools, or eligibility.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility.
  • Thorough knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and regulations related to special education services.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
  • Previous experience working with students in educational environments is a plus.
