We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Simulation Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art simulation systems for automotive validation testing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop simulator hardware and software model test systems for automotive verification testing
- Create simulated environments to enable dynamic testing in a laboratory
- Program, configure and update simulation test equipment to enable new and emerging feature level testing
- Create software models to simulate hardware in test system
- Develop scripts to automate testing and generate test reports
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering degree
- 2+ years of experience with creating MATLAB & Simulink plant models that run in the real-time simulation hardware
- 2+ years of experience programming with LabVIEW and NI tools
- 2+ years of experience with design and modification of simulation test systems
- 2+ years of experience with test engineering and test design using simulation
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering degree
- 5+ years of experience with creating MATLAB & Simulink plant models that run in the real-time simulation hardware
- 5+ years of experience with programming with LabVIEW and NI tools
- 5+ years of experience with design and modification of simulation test systems
- 5+ years of experience with test engineering and test design using simulation
