Job Summary:

Rhodes College is seeking a highly skilled Systems Programmer Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Information Services department, you will be responsible for supporting our enterprise systems, including HR, Finance, Payroll, Student, Financial Aid, and Student Account software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration: Manage system change requests, coordinate testing, and implement security changes to ensure the integrity and security of our enterprise systems.
  • Technical Support: Assist colleagues in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting core business applications, databases, and other information systems.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Coordinate the availability of reporting data and support reporting tools used on campus.
  • Integration and Development: Work with functional users and supporting partners to develop and support integrations between on- and off-premises systems, including authentication.
  • Documentation and Training: Extend our existing internal technical documentation and assist in training administrators and end users on the use of various systems.
  • Campus Partnerships: Maintain Campus Partnerships with various offices that use enterprise systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding and knowledge of data integration maintenance and administration, experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new data integrations across a variety of systems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate with self-awareness, sensitivity, and professionalism in a diverse work environment, excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Work Experience: 2+ years of work experience with IT, administrative software systems, and data integration experience strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work Experience: Experience with Workday, troubleshooting system problems, and command line skills strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management methodology, Agile software development using JIRA, Confluence or other collaboration tools, and SAML2-based authentication methods.
