Salary range for this position is $85,300 - $90,000 annually.

Role Summary

The Clinical Education Program Manager is accountable for the creation, organization, implementation, and assessment of educational initiatives for clinical staff across the organization. This role encompasses both new employee training and continuous education efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. The manager will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders to identify and address specific educational requirements. This position is pivotal in enhancing clinical and professional competencies through best practices aimed at achieving superior resident outcomes, including in-service training, online learning modules, infection control education, and adherence to corporate regulations. Additionally, this role involves maintaining necessary health documentation as stipulated by community and organizational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, design, and execute clinical training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Training may be conducted in-person, online, or within community settings as required.
  • Ensure that all relevant personnel complete and maintain required competencies on a monthly or annual basis. Manage and report on training records as necessary.
  • Develop and oversee budgetary controls to effectively manage time, materials, and resources.
  • Employ diverse training methodologies to enhance learning experiences, ensuring that programs are interactive and cater to various learning preferences.
  • Create and distribute educational resources to ensure team members have access to necessary training materials.
  • Provide individualized training sessions when necessary to support performance enhancement.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and human resources to establish a comprehensive training calendar accessible to all relevant staff.
  • Maintain accurate records for team members, ensuring that tuberculosis documentation is current for new hires and that clinical licenses are valid.
  • Uphold any relevant licensure or certifications.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Registered Nursing License in good standing within the state of operation.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience is preferred, with a background in senior services being advantageous.
  • Experience in training and staff development is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of four years of nursing experience in senior services is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement clinical training programs, with comfort in delivering coaching and educational solutions.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is mandatory.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities are required.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

  • Light physical effort is required, including the ability to handle objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequent movement including sitting, standing, and bending during work hours.
  • Subject to regular interruptions and interactions with team members and residents.
  • A valid Colorado driver’s license in good standing is required, as travel to various communities may be necessary.
