Job Summary:

The Thrift Store Floor Production Worker is responsible for assisting the production crew in cleaning, preparing, and tagging merchandise for sale. This includes sorting and processing donations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all merchandise is accurately priced and displayed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare merchandise for sale, including sorting and processing donations
  • Tag and price merchandise accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the thrift store floor and warehouse
  • Assist other departments as needed, including customer service and sales
  • Record production numbers daily and communicate with management about store issues
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to increase donations and sales
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a thrift store, warehouse, or assembly line environment is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills
  • Ability to determine the value of donations and provide excellent customer service
  • Clear communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Work Environment:

The Thrift Store Floor Production Worker will work predominantly indoors in a store, warehouse, or dock environment. The office is clean, orderly, and properly lit and ventilated. The position may be exposed to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
