Position Overview

The Summer Analyst Program at Rockefeller Capital Management is a ten-week internship designed to provide a unique and immersive experience for students. As a Summer Analyst, you will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of the business, gaining hands-on experience and developing valuable skills. The program includes a mentorship program, weekly speaker series, intensive training on the firm's business model, and opportunities to network with peers and senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth integrated fundamental and ESG research on companies and industries
  • Recommend and invest in equities using a fundamental approach that aligns with Rockefeller's investment philosophy
  • Build industry knowledge, including industry dynamics, competitors, technology disruption risks, and material ESG issues
  • Prepare financial models and participate in research calls, virtual conferences, and interactions with corporate management teams
  • Remain current with market conditions and stay informed of research and information regarding companies' holdings
  • Participate in ad-hoc research projects and provide client support
Qualifications
  • High school degree required
  • Pursuing a degree in Economics, Business, or Finance is desirable
  • Pursuing an MBA is preferred
  • Prior internship experience in asset management is a plus
Skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong understanding of modeling and company valuation work
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prompt follow-up and responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and/or FactSet
Compensation Range

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $48/hour. The hourly rate will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
