Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Engineer to join our team at Warehouse Workers, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining regulatory records, performing daily utility operations, and overseeing training of utility and maintenance employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of utility maintenance issues and wastewater treatment plant permits.
  • Perform daily utility operations and maintain related equipment to ensure efficient and safe functioning.
  • Develop and implement training programs for utility and maintenance employees to ensure understanding of work practices and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain all repairs supplies tools and equipment for optimal efficiency and functionality.
  • Document and read meters (gas sewer electric and water) for accurate reporting to regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department to identify and address repair needs.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to company good manufacturing practices and regulatory food safety quality and sanitation requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience or 4 years of experience with demonstrated leadership attributes.
  • At least 1st Class B Boiler Engineer License.
  • Preferred Chief B Boiler Engineer License.
  • Certification and/or License may be required during the course of employment.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards and requirements.
  • Knowledge of PSM/RMP and ammonia systems.
  • Knowledge of plant operations and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to perform safety inspections and develop safety procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Proficient in performing preventive productive predictive and scheduled maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Work Environment

This is a non-remote position.
