Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse – Critical Care is a key member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Core Responsibilities
  • Exemplary Practice and Outcomes: Perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical thinking to individualize care and coordinate with the healthcare team.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Coordinate safe, quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment, and demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
  • Professional Development and Initiative: Complete ongoing professional competency assessments, required education, and population-specific education, and serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses.
  • Evidence-Based Practice and Research: Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing, and participate in activities such as value analysis to evaluate patient care products.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years direct patient nursing care experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English language
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills
Education and Certifications
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred)
  • Required licenses and certifications: Reg Nurse (Single State), RN - Multi-state Compact, Basic Life Support, BLS - Instructor, BLS - Provisional, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS - Instructor, ACLS - Provisional
