About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our patients' treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements
  • A current state RN license or a current RN licensure with a multistate compact state.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
