Talent Groups is in search of a proficient and seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Healthcare Program Coordinator. This position is pivotal in managing the Standardized Encounter Data Program (SENDPRO), which is essential for enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to various demographics, including families, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.

The SENDPRO initiative focuses on modernizing the collection of encounter data by transitioning to a standardized Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) format. This modernization is crucial for improving program integrity, rate development, and compliance with health equity initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Data Management and Engineering, the Senior Healthcare Program Coordinator will oversee the SENDPRO initiative, ensuring effective internal development, rigorous testing, and efficient vendor management. This role is integral to maintaining operational continuity during the transition from legacy systems and enhancing the performance management of healthcare entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Senior Program/Project Manager, coordinating tasks and deliverables among team members and stakeholders.
  • Establish and implement program/project objectives, priorities, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee all stages of release management and implementation, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure adherence to service delivery standards.
  • Apply program/project management best practices to achieve objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead program governance structures to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to executives, including change requests related to scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Monitor program performance, including vendor performance and financial management.
  • Lead a diverse team of over 25 members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to align program/project objectives with their needs.
  • Ensure compliance with program administration requirements.
  • Manage financial processes and provide updates for leadership review.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Management, Public Health, or Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience in program and project management, particularly in healthcare or financial services.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-organizational programs/projects, including data management and systems integration.
  • Proven track record of managing projects with substantial budgets and diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Encounter Data and relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Experience in government healthcare agencies or public sector environments.
