Position Summary: We are in search of a seasoned General Manager to oversee our dedicated management team, which includes cocktail servers, bartenders, a host, and a doorman. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing beverage programs within cocktail lounges or bars, along with a background in nightlife operations. Experience in event planning and VIP services is highly desirable.

Key Duties:
  • Leadership & Oversight:
  • Manage daily operations of the cocktail lounge, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests.
  • Inspire, train, and guide the team, promoting a positive and professional work culture.
  • Organize staff schedules and effectively manage labor expenses.
  • Beverage Program Oversight:
  • Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and vendor relations.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Deliver outstanding service, meeting and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Event Planning & Promotions:
  • Design and implement events, promotions, and activations to enhance business and guest engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and public relations teams to promote events and attract a VIP audience.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor and assess the financial performance of the lounge, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Review sales and revenue reports, applying strategies to meet financial objectives.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a General Manager, Bar Manager, or in a similar role within a cocktail lounge, bar, or nightlife environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of beverage programs, particularly classic cocktails and premium spirits.
  • Experience in event planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work late nights and weekends.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Preferred candidates will have local market knowledge.
