Position Overview: The Retail Leadership Trainee (RLT) role is a developmental opportunity designed to prepare you for a managerial position within CVS. This program focuses on your growth as a future store leader.

Training Program: The RLT program spans 16 weeks and combines self-paced learning with collaborative training experiences. You will benefit from both virtual and hands-on learning to cultivate your leadership skills. Key support will come from your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager mentor.

Essential Skills:

  • Effective verbal and written communication to lead and support your team.
  • Customer service excellence to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Implementation of merchandising strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Inventory management to maintain profitability.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to accept a promotion to a managerial role within the designated market.

  • Ability to work a variable schedule based on business needs.
  • High School diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Retail management experience or relevant supervisory experience is beneficial.

Compensation: The typical pay range for this position is $23.88 per hour. This range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for all roles within this job grade. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including experience, education, and location.
