Job Title: Healthcare Quality Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Bureau of Nursing Homes & Medical Services. As a Healthcare Quality LPN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Triage and management of complaints, incident/accident reports, and facility-reported incidents
  • Conducting inspections, surveys, and investigations to ensure compliance with standards for licensed and certified facilities
  • Preparing and submitting reports of findings and required documentation in a timely manner
  • Serving as a team leader to a survey team when requested
  • Performing other duties as assigned, including attending local and regional meetings, assisting with training, and participating in hearings and trials
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Hold a licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Have a valid SC Driver's License
  • Be able to accommodate roundtrip travel for up to four hours and distances of up to 400 miles
  • Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays
  • Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds to a distance and/or height of up to 20 feet
Preferred Qualifications:

At least two years of related work experience and Surveyor Minimum Qualification Test (SMQT) certification are preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $49,000-$53,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off.
